What this tool does

Change the visible page boundary to remove unwanted margins. Cropping hides content outside the box rather than securely erasing it.

How to use it

1. Select one source file (application/pdf).
2. Set trim left (pdf points) (initial value: 20).
3. Set trim right (pdf points) (initial value: 20).
4. Set trim top (pdf points) (initial value: 20).
5. Set trim bottom (pdf points) (initial value: 20).
6. Set pages or page order (e.g. 3,1,2 or 1-3).
7. Choose Process, inspect the result, then use the download control. A reported error means no successful output was produced.

Limits and result checks

Sets the visible crop box. Content outside it is not securely redacted.

Can cropping safely redact confidential text?

No. Cropping changes the visible page boundary. Content outside it may remain in the PDF and must not be treated as securely removed.
